Rensa Group targets energy transition.
Rensa Group, with headquarters in Didam, The Netherlands, the parent company of a.o. HVAC distirbution expert Rensa BV, Gévier Dales BV, (Sanitary Wholesalers) and DEWEtech.de, based in Worms, Germany, has acquired a majority share in Libra Energy International. Libra Energy, an international wholesaler in sustainable energy systems and energy-saving products, is a market leader in solar energy in the Netherlands and front-runner in Europe with offices and distribution facilities in the UK and Germany.
“The energy transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy offers the installation sector new opportunities and possibilities,” says Erik Heijink, director of Rensa Group. “Concepts such as zero carbon houses and Low Carbon Buildings are tomorrow’s standard. We as Rensa Group want to support the installer in the same way as with more traditional heating systems.” Jan Joosten of Libra Energy adds: “The increasing demand for sustainable energy systems and solar energy calls for a powerful distribution partner. Rensa Group’s vision of serving the market with specialist wholesalers is a good fit with Libra Energy’s vision.” “The addition of Libra Energy to the Rensa Group is a textbook example of win-win,” continues Heijink. “Rensa Group provides its close-knit distribution network, and Libra Energy brings knowledge of a whole new ballgame to within Rensa Group.” In common with other companies within the Rensa Group, Libra Energy and its sister companies will continue to operate as independent organisations.
