FAQ: How do you set up the WIFI of a GoodWe inverter?
We frequently receive questions on how to set up the WIFI-connection for the new generation GoodWe inverters. We would like to support you with this.
- If you would like to complete the WIFI-configuration through an App on your smartphone or tablet, please follow option 1.
- If you would like to set up the WIFI through your laptop, please follow option 2.
The register process is basically the same as with the inverters from the older generations, the only difference is that the new generation should be registered at 10.10.100.253 instead of 10.10.100.254.
Caution: setting up the WIFI for a new generation inverter deviates from the standard models. You can recognize the newest generation GoodWe inverters by their serial number. The new GoodWe inverters’ serial number starts with a “9”. Are you still having difficulties? In the manual you can find steps that you will need to take in order to successfully connect to the WIFI.
